Channon was referred to Prospects Youth Support Team (YST) when she was 13 years old. Her school had made the referral after increasing concerns about a series of school exclusions, identifying Channon as at risk of permanent exclusion.

Jane, who had her arm amputated, has been on Employment Support Allowance (ESA) – Disability for two and half years after damaging her ‘good shoulder’ while swimming trying to get fit.

This Friday is Carers Rights Day, which brings organisations across the UK together to help carers in their local community know their rights and find out how to get the help and support they are entitled to.

The Youth Support Team in the Forest of Dean recruited a young person as a Peer Educator to join the team for the duration of the Inspire project.
