Head of Prospects School Improvement: Trevor has an outstanding track record as the head teacher of primary and secondary schools. His extensive inspection experience has been enhanced through his exceptional knowledge of curriculum development. Trevor also has worked on innovative programmes to support those with learning difficulties, especially autism. Trevor works directly with schools in supporting school improvement/SEF/SIP and Head's Performance Management etc. Trevor plans specific support for schools requiring improvement and leads on Academy conversion support.

Principal School Improvement Adviser: Mike is an experienced educator and inspector. He has 27 years of teaching experience. He was trained in school inspection by HMI before joining Ofsted’s Additional Inspector Project, where he went on to work as an Independent Registered Inspector. Mike's specialisms are primary schools, Ofsted Readiness Audits, Governor training/ Head's Performance Management, Senior Leadership School Evaluation, Academy Conversion Support Teaching, Learning & Assessment Safeguarding.

SEN School Improvement Adviser: Lilian is an experienced Ofsted team inspector in both the primary and secondary phases, inspecting English, SEN, Foundation Stage and Geography as well as RE and pupils’ spiritual, moral, social and cultural development. She has extensive experience as a trainer and adviser, working with newly qualified head teachers and middle managers and schools in special measures.

Principal School Improvement Adviser: Jeremy is an experienced and successful primary head teacher. He left headship in 2014 to be involved full-time in school inspection, including special and independent schools, as well as local authority work in Solihull. He has recently joined the Prospects team as one of our Principal School Improvement Advisers and offers extensive expertise in head teacher induction and training.

Bringing with him 29 years of experience working within schools, with 12 of these being as head teacher or deputy head; for the past 7 years, Richard has been providing school improvement advice to a wide range of primary, secondary and all through schools across the country and internationally.  He has led school inspections since 2012 and been an inspector for 7 years.  Richard works as a school improvement partner in secondary and primary schools and has provided leadership coaching to middle and senior leaders for 5 years. Particular areas of interest for Richard are mathematics, music, performing arts, leadership at all levels and strategies to improve outcomes for disadvantaged pupils. Richard has developed an exceptional understanding of strategies that enable disadvantaged pupils to achieve extremely well through his experience of supporting over 85 schools in further improving provision and outcomes for disadvantaged pupils.

Sally was a highly successful primary head teacher of an outstanding school in Birmingham. She is an experienced Ofsted inspector, and has advised on/contributed towards curriculum development and the publishing of a new primary curriculum for schools. Apart from her work with Prospects, Sally is also advising schools on Academy conversion though the NAHT Aspire School Improvement Programme.

SEN School Improvement Adviser: Nick works nationally and internationally as a trainer, coach and consultant. He has designed and delivered professional development training in teaching and learning, leadership and management, coaching and training skills and has delivered professional development consultancy for the National College of School Leadership and the Department for Children, Schools and Families.

Alan started his career as  PE teacher in Hampshire.  He was a head teacher for 22 yeas in Buckinghamshire and as a National Leader of Education (NLE), he ended his teaching career as an executive head of three schools.  He then moved into a consultancy role, working for the Diocese of Oxford as it's secondary adviser and for a MAT as a Challenge Partner. Alan's main professional focus is improving students' attainment and progress, teaching and learning and curriculum innovation.  He enjoys working in collaboration with head teachers and offering practical advice.

Craig is an experienced primary head teacher for over 20 years, with a proven track record of success and who also supports other schools in Essex. Craig is also a member of the NAHT Aspire School Improvement Programme, providing advice and support for schools.

Steve is an experienced primary head teacher, with a particular specialism in SEN. He has provided interim headships, been a learning and teaching mentor and has been a primary school improvement adviser in Buckinghamshire. Currently an approved assessor for the Governor Mark Assessment, Steve is an experienced governor trainer. 

Grace is an experienced former head teacher of an Ofsted graded outstanding special school, Grace has since worked as a head of department at a school in China, where she worked closely with the leadership team and led on the review and implementation of an adapted version of the early years curriculum. In Toronto, Grace worked with a team of colleagues deployed to work with the Education Authority as lead teacher for Looked After Children. Grace is a highly competent strategist, versatile and enthusiastic, with a dynamic professional approach to delivering substantial improvements in standards of teaching, learning and assessment in special schools.

Janis is a highly successful primary head teacher, with many years experience. Janis specialises in mentoring and supporting newly appointed, and inexperienced head teachers.

Dawn is an executive head teacher of two catholic primary schools in Brent. She has a degree in primary education and is a qualified teacher. Dawn has been a head teacher since September 2008. She is an accredited National Leader of Education and Systems Leader for Pupil Premium reviews. Dawn has expertise in all aspects of the primary phase, including leadership and management, as well as being an Ofsted inspector. Her school is judged outstanding by Ofsted and recently she took on a school in special measures. After eight months of successful leadership, it was judged good by Ofsted in 2016.

Lynne is a highly experienced head teacher and currently leads the largest infant and nursery school in Solihull. She has an extensive understanding of diversity of primary schools and private day-care provision. Lynne’s career has enabled her to gain an excellent understanding of the differing needs of small rural schools to large primaries in disadvantaged areas. She is an experienced trainer and is currently vice chair of Solihull’s Strategic Accountability Board. Lynne is Ofsted trained and a National Leader of Education (NLE). She has particular interests in Early Years Education, improving Teaching and Learning and developing children’s independent learning skills. She has a Masters Degree in School improvement as well as a B.Ed and NPQH.
