Delivering events nationally from the heart of the South West

Prospects Events has been based in Taunton since its creation in 2005. The 20 plus strong team delivers events all over the UK, but is always excited when our local event – Skills South West - takes place in Plymouth, a mere 74 miles away from the office.
Skills South West is a large, hands-on skills, jobs and careers event, sponsored by Plymouth City Council and the National Careers Service. Attending meetings with colleagues from National Careers Service to ensure the event delivers their objectives is easy, as Events, Work Programme and National Careers Service staff share the Taunton office. Working closely with different Prospects divisions has helped the Events team develop an understanding of the work the Group does and share best practice, knowledge and ideas.
Prospects organises events across the UK including 10 skills and careers events aimed at young people making important career decisions, the newly launched Capital Talent event for anyone working in London, or wanting to, the National Career Guidance Shows for careers professionals, a graduate recruitment fair, events for Heathrow and the Employee Ownership Association, and the Business Awards in Bexley, Bromley and London.
Did you know? If Nina Hurst-Jones, Prospects Events Director, visited every event each year she would travel 8,430 miles. Fortunately she has a great team to share the load and deliver excellent events.
